5 Things I’m Thankful For This Year

Okay seriously, how on earth is Thanksgiving only 2 days away? It feels like time is moving way too fast these days.  Thanksgiving is a meaningful time of year; with the weather changing and families gathering together, it is a time to reflect and appreciate life and its many changes and moments.  There are so many things to be thankful for this year!

Speaking of changes, over the last year my life has changed in many ways. Moved states? Check. Switched colleges? Yep. Started a new job? Definitely. Made new friends? Oh yeah. Heck, I’ve even fallen in love. And that’s all just since May. I am so thankful for each and every change and I am excited to see what it’s in store for next year.

I could list dozens and dozens of things that I’m thankful for but I’ll keep it short and sweet for ya and just list the 5 main ones.

1. My family.

I know it sounds so generic, that’s what everyone says, but it’s the truth.  I don’t know what I would do without the incredible support from my family.

2. Sinus surgery and a doctor who took my health seriously.

After suffering from chronic sinus infections for at least a decade, I finally was taken seriously and referred to an ENT who realized that something needed to be done.  While sinus surgery won’t prevent me from ever getting another sinus infection, it has definitely helped with the severity of the symptoms tremendously.

3. Faith and the ever-growing impact that God has had in my life.

I am closer to God than I ever have been in my life and it’s an incredible feeling.

4. Falling in love.

I never thought that I would fall in love or be in a relationship with somebody who treats me the way a woman should be treated, but as they say, never say never.

5. My blog and all of my readers!

When I started This Feisty Life in the back of my mind, I thought “it would be cool to one day make some money with this thing” but I never really took my blog seriously and kept at it until this past summer.  While I’m nowhere near the next Pioneer Woman by any means, my blog has grown so much and even made me some money! I hope to continue writing posts that y’all enjoy and I am so thankful for each and every one of you.
